Important News on Weather Conditions and WCDS Closings/Delays
To find out our school status during bad weather, you may go to Channel 6 on your TV (beginning at 6:30 am), or receive a text/email alert from 6abc.com (see links below to sign up.)
All parents should sign up for 6abc text alerts. You may now receive the latest news regarding school information on your wireless phone. If you have not already signed up for email or text alerts, you may register at 6abc.com.
Please be advised of WCDS definitions of closings/delays
One Hour Delay: All buildings will open at 9:00 am.
Two Hour Delay: All buildings will open at 10:00 am.
Early Dismissal: School will send out information to all parents via all school email, phone calls, and/or text alert system.
In order for this system to work effectively, it is most important that all parent and emergency contact and email information be kept updated and on file at all times.
